Share Your ExperienceProduct Overview
The architecture of CA Ucandu consisted of several key components. The command processor was responsible for interpreting user commands entered through the command-line interface. Dataset access modules handled the interaction with VSAM, BDAM, and sequential datasets, using z/OS system calls for I/O operations.
The ISPF interface provided a user-friendly environment for interacting with the utility. There were no external APIs. Communication occurred through z/OS system calls and dataset I/O operations.
The utility relied on z/OS security mechanisms, such as RACF, for access control. Audit logging was available through z/OS system logging. However, the product is no longer supported.
