Rocket SmartDoc

The Configuration Manager handles the tool's settings and parameters. It allows administrators to customize the analysis and reporting processes, including specifying output formats, report types, and analysis options. Communication between these components is primarily internal, managed by the SmartDoc engine.

The Analyzer passes the parsed code information to the Reporter, which then generates the documentation. The Configuration Manager provides settings to both the Analyzer and the Reporter. SmartDoc utilizes file storage for configuration settings and output documentation.

There are no specific network ports required for operation, as it runs locally on the z/OS system. The tool's design focuses on efficiency and ease of use, providing a streamlined process for generating and maintaining COBOL code documentation.
