Rocket TMON for CICS TS/VSE

The architecture of Rocket TMON for CICS TS/VSE consists of several key components designed to provide comprehensive monitoring and management capabilities. The Data Collector is responsible for gathering real-time performance data from the CICS environment. This component collects metrics such as transaction response times, CPU utilization, and I/O activity.

The Data Server processes and stores the collected data, providing a historical view of performance trends. The ISPF interface provides users with access to the monitoring and reporting features. Communication between components primarily occurs over TCP/IP.

Configuration is managed through TMON configuration files. The product supports RBAC with role-based permissions for access control. Compared to IBM CICS Performance Analyzer, TMON provides more detailed transaction-level analysis and real-time monitoring capabilities.
