Product Overview
The architecture of LegaSuite GUI comprises several key components. The Session Manager handles connections to the mainframe using TN3270 protocol. The Screen Scraper interprets the 3270 data stream and transforms it into a web-friendly format.
The Web Server serves the web-based user interface, typically using HTTP. These components communicate with each other through internal APIs and configuration files. The system uses XML-based configuration files to define screen mappings, application logic, and user interface elements.
Data storage is primarily in memory during session processing, with persistent storage options available for session data and configuration. Network requirements include access to the mainframe via TN3270 and client access to the Web Server via HTTP. Ports used include the standard HTTP port (80 or 443 for HTTPS) and the TN3270 port (23).
