The architecture of Adabas SQL Gateway comprises several key components. The Gateway Server is the central component, receiving and processing SQL requests. The Data Access Layer (DAL) translates SQL queries into ADABAS calls and retrieves data.
The Configuration Manager handles settings and database connections. The gateway supports communication via TCP/IP. The Gateway Server listens on a configurable port for incoming connections.
