RAAD

RAAD provides a comprehensive architecture for automated report management on zVSE/VSEn. It captures reports from POWER queues (RDR, PUN, LST, XMT), VM queues (VMR, VMP, VML), and CSI-ARCHIVE datasets. Reports are stored in a compressed format and retained based on defined parameters.

The system likely exposes native APIs for zVSE/VSEn and potentially a RESTful interface for web-based access, using TCP/IP and SNA protocols for communication. Key system components include the report retrieval module, responsible for extracting reports from various sources; the compression/storage module, which compresses and stores reports in VSAM datasets; the viewing module, providing online access to reports; and the printing/output module, which automates report distribution to specific printers. RAAD integrates with VSE security for user management and provides audit logging capabilities for compliance.
