The Tanit Objects architecture comprised several key components. The Service Definition Manager was used to define web service interfaces for IMS and CICS transactions. The runtime engine handled the execution of these services, interacting with the mainframe systems.
The security module provided authentication and authorization. Communication occurred primarily over HTTP using SOAP. Configuration was managed through XML files.
The product supported basic authentication and SSL for security. Logging and monitoring were available through a management console. The product is not supported.
