Product Overview
The architecture of Tivoli Command Center for UNIX Systems Services comprised several key components. The NetView interface served as the primary point of interaction, providing both a GUI and a CLI. Monitoring agents were deployed on the z/OS USS systems to collect data.
A central server aggregated data from the agents. Communication between components occurred over TCP/IP. The product did not expose any APIs.
The product used a proprietary data storage mechanism. The main configuration parameters were managed through the NetView interface. The product supported basic authentication.
The product is not supported. Users should migrate to Tivoli Omegamon XE for USS or other supported solutions.
