Natural Review Monitor

The architecture of Natural Review Monitor consists of three primary components: the Monitoring Agent, the Data Collector, and the Reporting Server. The Monitoring Agent is a resident component within the CICS region, responsible for capturing performance metrics from Natural applications. It collects data on transaction response times, CPU usage, I/O operations, and other relevant performance indicators.

The Data Collector receives the data from the Monitoring Agent, processes it, and stores it in a persistent data store. The Data Collector also performs data aggregation and summarization to facilitate efficient reporting and analysis. The Reporting Server provides a web-based interface for users to access and analyze the collected data.

It offers real-time dashboards, historical data analysis, and reporting capabilities. The Reporting Server also exposes a REST API for programmatic access to the monitoring data. Communication between the components occurs over TCP/IP.

The Monitoring Agent sends data to the Data Collector, and the Reporting Server retrieves data from the data store. The system uses a relational database for storing the performance data. The administrative interface allows for configuration of data collection intervals, threshold settings, and user access controls.

The product supports RBAC with role-based permissions, and provides detailed logging and auditing capabilities. The CLI provides commands such as `START MONITOR`, `STOP MONITOR`, and `DISPLAY STATUS`. The web interface provides dashboards for real-time monitoring and historical data analysis.

The product is designed to help organizations maintain optimal performance of their Natural applications.
