QCODE

The QCODE architecture is designed for high-volume address processing on z/OS and zVSE/VSEn platforms. The core components include the Address Validation Engine, which uses a rules-based engine to parse and validate address data against USPS standards. The Correction Engine applies corrections based on predefined rules and lookup tables.

The Database Interface provides connectivity to various storage mechanisms, including relational databases and VSAM files. The Configuration Manager allows administrators to customize system behavior, such as database connection settings and validation rules. The Reporting Module generates detailed reports on address processing, including statistics on validation rates and correction results.

Communication between components is primarily internal, with the API providing an external interface. The native API uses standard protocols for communication. The system's design prioritizes performance, scalability, and data integrity.

Security is implemented through user authentication, role-based access control, and encryption of sensitive data. The CLI is the primary administrative interface.
