SmartProduction's architecture is designed for high performance and scalability on z/OS. The Analysis Engine processes the collected data, identifying performance bottlenecks and generating optimization recommendations. The Reporting Module provides detailed reports and dashboards through the web-based GUI. The Optimization Advisor offers specific suggestions for improving batch job performance.

Data is stored in a combination of VSAM datasets and a relational database, optimized for efficient data retrieval and analysis. The REST API allows for integration with other monitoring tools and automation systems. Communication between components is facilitated through TCP/IP, with specific ports used for API access and database connectivity.

The system supports RACF authentication and RBAC for access control, ensuring secure access to data and functionality.
