Product Overview
The architecture of Infosphere Data Event Publisher (IDEP) for Db2 comprised several key components. The Event Publisher captured database changes by monitoring Db2 transaction logs. The Event Router directed these changes to WebSphere MQ queues.
The Event Publisher used a configuration file to define the connection to the Db2 database and WebSphere MQ. The Event Publisher supported various data formats, including XML and delimited text. The Event Publisher used a command-line interface (CLI) for administration.
