Debug for z/OS

The architecture of Debug for z/OS comprises several key components: the Debug Engine, the Debug Manager, and the User Interface. It allows users to set breakpoints, view variable values, and control program flow. The communication between these components is primarily through z/OS system services and internal interfaces. Debug for z/OS does not use external databases for its core functionality.

It relies on the z/OS environment for storage and access to program data. Network requirements are minimal, as the tool primarily operates within the z/OS environment. The tool does not expose REST APIs.

It supports authentication through RACF and other z/OS security mechanisms.
