Product Overview

The architecture of TPS/BSC Support is centered around three primary components: the BSC Line Driver, the API Library, and the Configuration Manager. The BSC Line Driver is responsible for the low-level interaction with the BSC hardware. The API Library provides a C language interface for application developers.

This library includes functions for initializing BSC lines (`bsc_init_line()`), sending data (`bsc_send_data()`), receiving data (`bsc_receive_data()`), and closing lines (`bsc_close_line()`). The Configuration Manager handles the configuration file, which specifies various line parameters such as baud rate, parity, character set, and other BSC-specific settings. Communication between the application and the BSC Line Driver occurs over TCP/IP.

The API uses a standard error-handling mechanism, returning integer codes to indicate success or failure. The API library is linked into the application during compilation. The Configuration Manager reads the configuration file at startup and applies the settings to the BSC Line Driver.

The product supports basic authentication. The API design prioritizes simplicity and direct control over BSC lines, making it easy for developers to integrate BSC communication into their applications. The BSC Line Driver handles the complexities of the BSC protocol, providing a clean interface for the application layer.
